We’re Hiring: Director of Operations and Development

Preservation Action is seeking a Director of Operations and Development to help lead the organization’s next chapter.

This part-time position will support Preservation Action’s national advocacy work while strengthening organizational operations, fundraising, communications, and member engagement. The ideal candidate is an organized, strategic, and collaborative professional who understands nonprofit organizations and is passionate about historic preservation and public policy.

Position: Director of Operations and Development
Employment: Part-time employee, approximately 20 hours/week
Compensation: $40/hour
Location: Remote (Washington D.C. Area/Commuting Distance)

The Director will work closely with Preservation Action’s staff, board, members, supporters, and partners to advance our mission of strengthening federal policies that protect and preserve America’s historic resources.
