Preservation Action Foundation’s Fundraiser and Auction

Preservation Action Foundation concluded our 2023 Annual Auction and Fundraiser — SAVE YOUR PLACE — in November of last year! Our first in-person auction since 2019 was a big hit. Be ready to join us again this year in New Orleans during the week of October 28th as part of the National Trust’s PastForward conference!

Thank you to our sponsors, donors, speakers, bidders and everyone that attended, for helping to make our Annual Auction and first in-person Live Auction in four years a huge success! We were thrilled to help kick off the 2023 PastForward Conference‘s successful return to in-person. Whether you attended the Live Auction, bid on one of our more than 70 auction items during the Silent Auction, or made a contribution, we can’t thank you enough for your support!

PAF’s lively auction and event was hosted by Preservation Action Foundation’s Board Chair Huy Pham, alongside our very special guest auctioneer, Joe Quinata, esteemed Chief Program Officer of Guam Preservation Trust. We were also excited to recognize longtime Executive Director of the 1772 FoundationMary Adams Anthony with the 2023 Nellie Longsworth Award in recognition of her exemplary leadership and unwavering dedication to the cause of historic preservation.

Thanks again to everyone who helped make this event a success. This is our largest fundraiser of the year and helps to fund the critical historic preservation education and outreach efforts of the Preservation Action Foundation. You can still support these efforts by making a donation today!

Our annual auction is Preservation Action Foundation’s largest fundraiser.  The dollars in auction funds raised go to support the mission of the Preservation Action Foundation.

The proceeds from this event are used to assist in education and training, advocacy for preservation policy, and programs. Our most visible contributions to preservation advocacy are; a weekly Legislative Update, organizing National Historic Preservation Advocacy Week, and Advocacy Scholars. The Preservation Action Foundation is a 501(c)(3) entity; your prize donation and could be tax-deductible. Check with your tax professional.
