Mark your calendars! Preservation Action Foundation’s Annual Auction & Happy Hour returns to Washington, D.C., on September 23rd from 4:30–6:30 p.m.
Join us immediately following Wednesday’s National Preservation Summit programming in the National Cathedral’s Perry Auditorium (7th floor) for an afternoon of food, drinks, and friendly bidding. Explore an exciting lineup of auction items including exclusive tours and experiences, travel packages, educational opportunities, and one-of-a-kind gifts.
Every bid supports Preservation Action Foundation’s work to expand grassroots preservation advocacy through education and outreach.
Donation and Sponsorship Opportunities
We are seeking donations of auction items! These could include historic stays, travel packages, tours, passes, or other experiences as well as physical items such as memorabilia, books, puzzles/games, or other interesting objects. Please see the donation packet for more details!

Our annual auction is Preservation Action Foundation’s largest fundraiser. The dollars in auction funds raised go to support the mission of the Preservation Action Foundation.
The proceeds from this event are used to assist in education and training, advocacy for preservation policy, and programs. Our most visible contributions to preservation advocacy are; a weekly Legislative Update, organizing National Historic Preservation Advocacy Week, and Advocacy Scholars. The Preservation Action Foundation is a 501(c)(3) entity; your prize donation and could be tax-deductible. Check with your tax professional.
