WV’s economy is one of the lowest in the Country and we need to tap into the tourism market.  Preserving our historic sites helps enable that.

The historic tax credit has been absolutely essential in the revitalization of West Virginia Communities, and I support expanding and modernizing it.

Much of West Virginia’s economic development has hinged on historic preservation projects.  As Mayor of Wheeling, Glenn was a key player in the effort to increase the state HTC to 25% in 2017 which was passed.  Additionally, Glenn owns an 1893 historic building in downtown Wheeling that he has been restoring.
