As a Libertarian, what I support is tax reduction so that Americans once again have the disposable income to support their favorite causes.
Non-Profits should not be lobbying federal and state government for resources, the people and the market should be the sole determination of their success.

Establish localized efforts to preserve historical sites by funding preservation societies through private donors and fighting eminent domain efforts.

Yes. Many historic sites like the Idaho penitentiary, Julia Davis Orchard, The governors mansion, have all been turned into city managed or non profit managed museums, and HQs. I look forward to that process continuing through local efforts and foundation support.
