Preservation Action (PA) is the only national non-profit dedicated exclusively to lobbying for the best preservation policies at the federal level. We seek to make historic preservation a national priority by advocating to all branches of government through a grassroots constituency empowered with information and training.
PA carries out its mission with the help of partner organizations and concerned individuals. To acknowledge the work of these partners, who are key to the success of historic preservation nationwide, PA extends its appreciation through the Preservation Action Hero of the Quarter and Preservation Action Hero of the Year honors. We launched our Preservation Action Hero recognition in 2019.
