While 2024 promises to be an exciting year for the organization, we’re also facing new challenges on the legislative front. The Historic Preservation Fund’s authorization was allowed to lapse in September, causing uncertainty for the important preservation work that relies on this funding, and ongoing efforts to address federal permitting reform which threatens to undermine key federal protections for our historic resources.
